We are excited to announce the success of our second annual Wine Tasting Dinner Fundraiser on September 17, 2016. Wines from the event were sold after the dinner and portion of those proceeds were donated to our charity. In addition, we also sold baskets which…

John Paul Secondary School in Chelekura Uganda is in desperate need of teacher housing! Due to the lack of on campus housing, teachers must travel long distances to-and-from school daily. During the long rainy season roads frequently become impassable and the teachers cannot get to the school. If there are no teachers, the students suffer and fall behind in their studies. Also, teacher housing will help us to attract the best teachers from a much wider area, further improving our students’ education. Please check out our CrowdRise fundraiser via the link below and be sure to watch the video for a closer look at Chelekura, Uganda – God bless!   Brick…

A fun event we attended during the summer has resulted in a whole new group supporting John Paul School. In August the “Class of 64” from Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Kansas (Nancy’s Alma Mater) held their 45th class reunion. We were fortunate enough to be able to attend and had fun reconnecting with old friends while enjoying the weekend activities. During the festivities the subject of John Paul School came up among a few friends and that has blossomed into another major fund-raising activity. Nancy’s classmates, led by Vicki Wewers, Rich Sambol, Bob Wewers and Cathy Stone decided they wanted to do something special to help and…
