Welcome Back to all of our Students!!
On February 3, 2025, John Paul Secondary School opened its doors to students, eager to return to their studies and see their friends again after their two-month end-of-year break. Moses Bwayo, the Headmaster, and all the teachers warmly greeted them.

When our students return to school after a long break, it’s much like moving back into a college dorm. They must bring all their clothing and personal items in one trunk, plus they bring their mattresses, linens, and mosquito netting.

The students are accompanied by their parents or guardians, who take them to school by bus or car and sometimes by boda-boda. You can only imagine the activity on campus, with hundreds of students registering and moving into their dorms! The BEST thing about this year is that the students have two additional new dorms waiting for them…one for the girls and one for the boys! These dorms will be highly beneficial since enrollment continues to increase! The students will be thrilled to settle into their dormitories and excited to have more space!

It’s an inspiring time at JPSS. With their unwavering dedication, our students have continued to excel in their studies and have excellent test scores, making JPSS the #1 Secondary School in the Pallisa District for the 3rd consecutive year. This remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work and the support they receive from our dedicated teachers.

More parents are learning about the opportunities JPSS has to offer via our advertising in newspapers, radio, and the JPSS Marketing Calendar. This has brought many new students from further distances and larger cities to JPSS. We are very happy to welcome all these new students to our growing campus!
