2016 Wine Tasting Fundraiser

We are excited to announce the success of our second annual Wine Tasting Dinner Fundraiser on September 17, 2016. Once again, the event was held at the Courthouse Grille Restaurant in Plymouth, Michigan.  Thank you so much to Sam Messina, owner of the Courthouse Grille, and his fabulous staff for making this an amazing evening!

The event was a great success with 53 attendees, many of whom attended last year.  A portion of the ticket cost was a donation to our charity Friends Of John Paul School. Wines from the event were sold after the dinner and portion of those proceeds were donated to our charity. In addition, we also sold baskets which were purchased in Uganda and were hand dyed and made by local artisans.  Overall we raised almost $26,000!!

These funds will help tremendously with many of the large projects we are planning for JPSS for the coming year. These future plans include:

•      Fund the new dormitory
•      New Dining/Meeting Hall 
•      Security Fencing
•      Shower/Latrine Facility 

Everyone who attended had a wonderful evening filled with amazing food, wonderful wines, laughter and good times spent with friends. We appreciate everyone who attended and those who were unable to attend but sent a donation.  For each dollar raised, the proceeds go to the continued improvement and success of the John Paul Secondary School.
